Garlic Extract Eliminates Oral Bacteria
Dr. Jaber bin Salem Al-Qahtani
It has been found that garlic cleanses the mouth of all microbes. A scientific study was conducted on garlic extract to determine its effect on the approximately fourteen types of bacteria that live in the mouth, and it was found that the garlic extract eliminated all of these types.
Chewing one clove of garlic for a few minutes is sufficient to kill all microbes present in the mouth, including the diphtheria bacterium. To reduce garlic breath, eat several parsley leaves immediately after chewing the garlic.
* Olive Leaves: The olive tree is mentioned in the Holy Quran and is considered blessed. The parts of the olive tree used are its dried leaves, the oil extracted from the fruit, and the flowers.
* Olive leaves contain aerobic monoterpenes, triterpenes, flavonoids, and chalcogenins. They are used to treat oral thrush and mouth ulcers. One method is to chew fresh leaves from olive tree twigs, keep them in the mouth for several minutes, then spit out the residue. This process should be repeated three to four times a day. Alternatively, a tablespoon of dried olive leaves can be placed in a cup, boiling water added, and left to steep for an hour. After straining, the affected person can gargle with the infusion several times a day.
