Ingredients
Yeast: 2 teaspoons (instant)
Sugar: 2 teaspoons
Salt: 1 1/4 teaspoons
Milk powder: 1 tablespoon
Flour: 3 cups (sifted)
Light water: 3/4 cup
Olive oil: 2 tablespoons
Egg: 1 (beaten/for brushing)
Sesame: 1/3 cup (for brushing)
Nigella seeds: 1/4 cup (to taste/for brushing)
Directions
1. Knead the flour, salt, sugar, yeast, lukewarm water, and olive oil using an electric mixer or by hand until a smooth dough is formed.
2. Divide the dough in half, place it in a bowl, cover the bowl with plastic wrap, and let it rest for 15 minutes.
3. Roll out the divided dough on a floured surface into a rectangle, making sure the rolled dough is medium to thick.
4. Brush the surface of the dough with the beaten egg, sesame seeds, and nigella seeds.
5. Divide the dough with a pizza cutter or knife into medium-sized fingers and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cover the sheet with plastic wrap and let it rise for another 30-40 minutes until puffed up.
6. Bake at 425°F for 14 minutes, until golden brown. Let it cool, then serve with your favorite sauce.
