How to Remove Hair Dye from Nails

Water and Soap

Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water. However, this method only helps to remove dye from nails to a limited extent. Be careful not to use harsh cleaning agents or solvents such as glass cleaners or alcohol-based cleaners, as these can damage the skin, especially sensitive skin.

Hair Removal Cream

You can use a body hair removal cream. Apply it to your nails for five minutes, then rinse your hands with cold water. For more effective results, you can repeat this process several times.

Lemon and Yeast Recipe

This can be prepared by mixing one teaspoon of yeast with two tablespoons of lemon juice. Apply the mixture to your nails and rub it in well. Then, wash your hands with lukewarm water to remove all traces of yeast. You can also wipe your nails with a mixture of lemon juice and water. Note that this recipe should be avoided if you have any cuts or wounds on your hands, as lemon can cause a burning sensation when it comes into contact with them.

Nail polish remover

Nail polish or acetone removes the stain from nails. Soak a cotton ball in the remover and wipe the stained nails. Repeat the process several times until the stain is completely gone.

Toothpaste

Toothpaste contains several ingredients that can remove stains from nails. Apply a small amount to your nails and rub them thoroughly with your fingers or a cotton ball. Continue rubbing until the stain is gone. Then, wash your hands with water to remove any remaining toothpaste and stains.

Other methods

Hand sanitizer: Hand sanitizer contains antiseptic particles that can remove stains and their traces.

Perfume: Any type of perfume or deodorant can be used, but some of these substances may irritate the skin upon contact. Nail file: A nail file can be used to file dirty nails, causing the polish to peel off more quickly, and may even disappear completely.

Commercial remover: Some commercially available removers specifically designed for removing nail polish can be used.
