The German Association of Gynecologists stated that infertility in women can be identified by several signs, including persistent lower abdominal pain, menorrhagia (heavy and prolonged menstrual bleeding), and oligomenorrhea (light menstrual bleeding).
Other signs include severe pain during intercourse, intermenstrual bleeding (bleeding between periods), and excessive body hair.
The association explained that infertility in women has several causes, including hormonal imbalances, ovarian dysfunction, damage to the ovaries and fallopian tubes, and uterine and cervical disorders.
Other causes include malformations of the reproductive organs, premature menopause, and endometriosis.
The association emphasized that early detection of fertility problems and collaboration with specialists allow for proactive measures and the selection of appropriate treatment options.
Consulting a doctor is crucial. Therefore, it is advisable to consult a doctor if pregnancy does not occur, despite regular intercourse for a year, or in the case of the above-mentioned signs appearing, while women over the age of (35) should seek medical advice after 6 months without pregnancy occurring.
